The Skorcher is critical for even the highest caliber athletes. The Skorcher exercises are safe and easy on the joints and lead to the promotion of speed, power, and strength.

“The Skorcher lends itself to progressive resistance and can accommodate extremely strong individuals, which cannot be said of other home exercise equipment,” says inventor Bret Contreras.

The single-leg hip thrust mimics the explosive burst of a sprinter and will lead to increased muscle strength that increases sprinting speed. The Skorcher Xtreme's twelve different exercises for the glutes target the most athletic muscle in the body. Indeed, the glutes account for up to 40% of the propulsion involved in a vertical leap and are the most intensely contracted muscle during sprinting and leaping.

Although the Skorcher Xtreme provides six different exercises that directly target the core, the core is also stimulated while performing most of the other Skorcher exercises due to the “exercise space” in between the upper backpad and foot bars. The core is contracting while the user performs exercises like bench press, one-arm rows, and pullovers.
